For our shared house in Winterthur, we are looking for new housemates who are excited about communal living and want to actively help shape this space.

🌈 Most of us are queer, politically left-wing, and live meat-free to vegan. We wish for housemates who support these values.

🏡 The house and our garden

Currently, we live as a group of four (space for max. 6 people) with our four-legged friend in an almost 2.0-year-old, spacious house in a central location near the Altstadt.

We, who live here, are the heart of the place and that is where our focus lies.
We look forward to people who share our enthusiasm and responsibility for the garden. This includes an awareness of the basic maintenance of the garden, which we divide among ourselves within the WG.

Lucy, who is currently completing a permaculture training and founded this WG out of a desire for community, has the vision of redesigning the garden here using the principles of permaculture. If you like, you are welcome to support the permaculture project with your strength and love. However, this is entirely up to you. To provide financial support for the garden, there is an annual garden donation. This helps us to support the garden together and to continuously develop it further. If necessary, this can be waived upon request.🌻

In the house, you will find:
large communal kitchen with dining room
living room with music corner on the EG
second living room with TV in the DG
craft/movement room
plenty of space in the cellar for creative and manual projects with a workshop
large laundry room with shower
shared bathroom and a total of three toilets

🌞 We are:
Lucy (25, she/her), Saina (30, she/her), Jori (27, er/they/none) and Lara (25, she/her) – four people who have consciously decided on a communal life. 🐞

We are connected by the desire for mindful, respectful coexistence. We want to actively live and practice self-reflection, empathy, and open communication in everyday life so that we can grow together – even when it becomes challenging.

We are up for cooking and eating together, meditating, making music, spontaneous happenings, and larger planned events. At the same time, it is important to us that retreat and individual needs have their place.

Our small family also includes the dog Soho🐾 Therefore, we look forward to housemates who love animals and feel comfortable with a dog. The house is also equipped with cat flaps for cats. So if you have a cat that gets along with a dog, we would be open to getting to know you🐱
