The MASI (Museo d'Arte della Svizzera Italiana) (20 minutes walk) regularly hosts contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on Lake Lugano is a must, as is a walk on the famous Lugano lakeside promenade, with a breathtaking view of the lake.
