Room in a shared flat

Hello!

We are Juliane and Clara (both 27) and also relatively newly moved in together (but are very happy to be living together now 😃). Our dear Jan is unfortunately leaving us, which is why we are now looking for a new member for our shared flat.

About us:

I, Clara, from Frankfurt, moved to Zürich in April for my new job. But honestly, only secondarily, as the primary goal was to live near the mountains. This is exploited heavily every weekend and all vacation days are used up for long weekends in the mountains (whether hiking, hut tours, bivouacking, ski tours…). Very rarely, work is also done on the weekend (like now, but for now, I'm writing this text at the company's expense). Otherwise, I also like to do different kinds of sports and am a huge trendsetter in that sense (running, swimming etc.). When I am in Zürich on the weekend, I like to just stroll around, drink a coffee, go to the lake, etc. I am definitely more of a lark than an owl haha. Something else that is quite important to mention is that we both have visitors quite frequently. Be it someone flying early the next morning or someone traveling from DE for the weekend. We also always like to invite our Zürich friends over for dinner. But at the latest by 10 PM, the lights are out for everyone during the week haha, and if you ask me, the WG rhythm can gladly stay that way hihihi.

Juliane, 27, from Karlsruher, which isn't really Karlsruher but rather a mini village south of Karlsruhe (feels like more cows than people), also only moved to Zürich at the end of July, but is super happy to be here! Before that, I lived in New York for 3 years and before that in Southern Germany. Like Clara, I am definitely in bed very early during the week, but on the weekend, I also like to be out a bit longer, unless I am training for a marathon... (Quarter-Life-Crisis at its best haha). Otherwise, I also love being in the mountains, whether in summer for hiking or in winter for skiing! So far, I haven't reached Clara's level in that regard, but who knows what the next few years will bring haha, my enthusiasm can certainly be easily expanded if I like something :))
Otherwise, I work in the private sector and usually have my stressful phase in the winter months; during that time, work is also done on one or two Saturdays, but that is mostly compensated for in the summer with goooood amounts of vacation and travel hihi.
I love relaxed weekend brunches, coffee dates or wine nights, I am basically always up for anything and very easy to convince to do something :))

About the apartment:
Our WG is truly heaven on earth. Top location, if you don't want to fall from the bed into the club, but want to be able to open the window at night without any problems. You are at BHF Enge in 10 min or at Waffenplatzstrasse in 5 min. At the migrolino opposite, we feel like we leave our rent every day – but it is practical. Additionally, you have a great view of the Uetliberg and if you look closely, also of the mountains. But besides the 2 floors and the 2 bathrooms, our roof terrace tops everything, of course. A lot of eating and chilling was done there in the evening in summer. During the day, one would unfortunately have died of heatstroke (but also with us IN the apartment, so basically doesn't matter). On foot, you are also in Badi Enge in 10 minutes. All in all, simply premium. But the pictures speak for themselves.
It is not yet clear whether Jan's room will become free (1350 rent) or Clara's room (the slightly larger one for 1500). Jan would like to get rid of the furniture (wardrobe, bed, desk, desk chair, shelf - so simply the furniture seen in the fairy lights picture). That would be one of the conditions to be able to move in with us :) additionally, there is unfortunately a relatively high deposit of ~4000chf.
We are looking for someone who is +/- our age, employed, and maybe even has a few overlapping interests :)
