From 1 October, a room will become available in our rooftop flat in the heart of Wiedikon — open-ended, so we are looking for someone who wants to move in with us long-term.
The apartment is on the 5th floor, only 2 minutes from Lochergut: tram and bus stops right outside the door, bakeries, bars and the weekly market just around the corner, and in 10 minutes you are at the HB or at the Sihl.

The apartment

• Over 130 m² living space, divided into two wings — each with its own bedroom and a common room
• Bedroom 2 in the second wing is for rent
• Mostly furnished — you can basically move in with a suitcase
• Living room with a large dining table, sofa, TV and coffee machine
• Separate office — ideal for home office, without having to sit at the kitchen table
• Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, airfryer, rice cooker, kettle, refrigerator with freezer compartment plus a second freezer
• Bathroom with shower, whirlpool, large mirror as well as washing machine and dryer

The highlight: 90 m² rooftop terrace
Accessible only to us, with a wide view over Zürich up to the mountains. Several raised beds are already laid out — so herbs and vegetables grow along with it, if you feel like it. Perfect for breakfast in the sun, an after-work beer or dinner with friends.

Who is already there
Vincent (27) from Zug is doing his PhD in Computer Vision at ETH. He loves cooking passionately, often together with friends, and plays piano — however, using headphones, so it remains quiet.

Framework conditions

• Room: Bedroom 2 in the second wing of the apartment
• Available from: 1 October 2026

• Rent: CHF 1'830.– per month plus utilities (which, based on experience, turn out to be very moderate)

Who fits us
We are late 20s / early 30s and in professional life or at ETH — someone in a similar stage of life probably fits best. Gender does not matter to us. It would be nice to have someone who likes to cook together sometimes or hang out on the terrace, without having to constantly do something together. A good balance of togetherness and personal space — the apartment offers both.

Documents
In case of mutual interest, we ask for a copy of your ID, a current extract from the debt enforcement register (Betreibungsauszug), and proof of a steady income (employment contract or the last three payslips) after the viewing. For students, a parental guarantee is sufficient.
