Room in a shared flat

Important: Enrollment at a Zurich university (ZHAW, UZH, ETH, KME, ZHdK, PHZH, HfH) required (WOKO conditions)!

We are looking for a new female or male roommate for our student shared apartment in Wädenswil starting at the beginning of December. We are a diversely mixed WG in a large WOKO house.

The room

• Due to the location on the ground floor, it remains relatively cool in summer. The street can be heard, but one gets used to it well.
• Furnishing: The room is rented unfurnished. Bed, couch, and wardrobe can be taken over for free.

Location

• Shopping facilities (Migros, Coop, Denner) are easily reachable on foot.
• The WG is located near the Campus Grüental (ZHAW).
• Public transport connections: Zürich HB approx. 30 min., ETH/UZH Zentrum approx. 45 min.

Costs

• Rent: 790 CHF/month (flat rate incl. utilities for heating, electricity, water, wastewater, caretaker services, administration)
• WG fund: 25 CHF/month for shared expenses (fiber-optic internet, cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc.)
• Deposit: approx. 2 months' rent

Living together in the WG

Since we are a large WG with 25 rooms, it is important to us that you get along well with other people. Decency, consideration, and compliance with certain rules are therefore all the more important to us.

We function like a Zweck-WG (shared apartment for convenience), but also enjoy good relationships with one another. We do not all eat at the same time, as everyone has their own rhythm, but when the opportunity arises, some also occasionally enjoy a dinner together or have a drink and chat a little. But of course, this is not a must.
