Ittigen is excellently connected by public transport: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen quickly and frequently with the surrounding towns. The travel time to Bern (main station) is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The S-Bahn line Bern-Worb serves the stops Ittigen and Papiermühle in Ittigen every 15 minutes - during peak times in the morning and evening even every 7 1/2 minutes in both directions.
Bus lines connect the stations Ittigen (Line 43) and Papiermühle (Line 40/41) with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From the Papiermühle station, two bus connections (Line 40/41) also lead to Bern, with a direct connection to Bernmobil.
All S-Bahn lines pass through the Worblaufen station. The connections to the surrounding towns as well as to Bern are very good. A bus also leads to the Bernese northern district. On weekends, Ittigen and Worblaufen are served at night by the Moonliner.
