Room in a shared flat

Hi there, future flatmate!

We’re looking for a third person to join our flat on St. Johanns-Vorstadt 58, right on the Rhine in the middle of Basel.

Your room. t’s a simple bedroom, but a properly spacious one, with a bed that’s almost a double.
The living room. It’s huge and full of light, and it looks straight out over the Rhine. There’s a wood-burning stove for winter evenings and a bed sofa for guests. You’ll catch yourself staring out the window with your coffee and suddenly be 20 minutes late. We’ve all done it.
Cinema night. We have a projector, so the whole wall becomes the screen. Add the stereo and it’s basically a private cinema, minus the stranger chewing loudly next to you.
The sound. We have great speakers and a turntable. Michi, one of us, is a real vinyl connoisseur, and his collection reflects that. You’ll leave with better taste in music than you arrived with.
The terrace. It’s spacious and it looks over the river. We’ve had more barbecues up there than we can count. Summer evenings here are hard to beat.
The kitchen. It’s big and bright, with a bar counter that turns into a cocktail bar on Friday and a breakfast bar on Saturday (on a good Saturday).
The maths. Three rooms, two bathrooms. If you’ve ever lived in a shared flat, you know how rare that is.
